Today is May 30, 2020 -
Temple Beth Chai of Hauppauge is a warm family-oriented synagogue. All are welcome, including singles, couples, families, interfaith families and LGBTQ+.
Opened in 1972,Temple Beth Chai’s objective is to establish and maintain a Conservative Egalitarian Synagogue. We provide educational, religious, social, and recreational activities, as well as further the cause and objectives of the synagogue and traditional Judaism.
Temple Beth Chai of Hauppauge offers activities that support the Congregation, Sisterhood, Men’s Club, Youth Groups, Religious and Sunday Schools and a wide range of programs related to our temple and family of congregants.
Due to coronavirus precautions, TBC is not open to any members or visitors. The office will be open to answer phone calls and emails between 10 am and 12 pm Tuesday through Friday. This will be the new schedule for the office until things begin to go back to normal.
In order to adhere to this policy, food cards will be available during those hours as a drive up program. Please call ahead of time and have your payment ready when you arrive at the temple. Thank you for working with us during this time.
We will be offering Friday evening services online. The sessions will begin at 6:00pm and end at approximately 6:55pm, before sundown and the official start of Shabbat, and will exclude the prayers that require a minyan. We are looking forward to helping our community come together in the spirit of Shabbat in this unique fashion.
