Temple Beth Chai of Hauppauge is a warm, family-oriented synagogue. All are welcome, including singles, couples, families, interfaith families and LGBTQ+.
Opened in 1972, Temple Beth Chai's objective is to maintain a Conservative Egalitarian Synagogue. We provide educational, religious, social, and recreational activities, as well as further the cause and objectives of the synagogue and traditional Judaism.
Temple Beth Chai of Hauppauge holds weekly Shabbat Services, Holiday services and activities through Sisterhood, Men's Club, and Youth Groups. We offer religious educational opportunities for children and adults, including Religious School, and a wide range of programs related to our temple and family of congregants.
To help keep our community safe and healthy during this COVID-19 pandemic, and to comply with New York State requirements regarding non-essential businesses, we are temporarily closing the Temple Beth Chai Office, effective immediately. Rest assured that we will continue to check voicemail messages and emails, and respond to all as soon as we are able to. Thank you for your patience.
